OSU Joins KSU to Offer a FREE Summer Camp for Kids!
Through a partnership between Kent State University and The Ohio State University, the Research Center for Educational Technology is excited to announce a FREE summer technology camp for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. This camp is being held June 17 – 20, 2013 in the AT&T Classroom. The first 25 participants registered for Lights! Camera! Action! Let's Make a PSA! will have their fee waived! During the camp students will explore the importance of nutrition while developing their skills in technology and communications. Students will create individual and group public service announcements about nutrition that will be used by the Ohio State University's Expanded Food and Nutrition Program to teach other youth the importance of healthy eating habits. This opportunity was made possible from the financial support provided by Buckeye Community Health. For registration, to find out more information about this camp and other summer camps offered by the Research Center for Educational Technology, contact Program Coordinator Candice McDonald at cmcdon16@kent.edu.
