The Office of Diversity Outreach and Development was established within the College of Education, Health and Human Services to provide outreach support and programs focused on increasing the success of students of color within our college at Kent State University.
Focused on creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment within the College of Education, Health and Human Services, the Office of Diversity Outreach and Development provides high impact outreach services and resources which stimulate an increase in the recruitment and retention of underrepresented student populations into the college's various majors and programs.
Office of Diversity Outreach and Development will be the hub that engages and educates a diverse group of students, faculty and staff through our immersion, mentoring, and professional development opportunities that contributes to progressively increasing the retention of underrepresented students and students of color in our various majors and programs.
The DOD will maintain solid partnerships with community and school organizations to recruit quality students into our college. Through all of these programs and collaborations, our office promotes an enriched inclusive learning environment for the College of Education, Health and Human Services.
