Kent Social Services

Feeding the hungry and providing emergency services to persons in the City of Kent and Franklin Township. Kent Social Services provides a hot meal program to those in need on Monday – Friday during the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. They also provide grocery assistance to families in need through their pantry program.  Kent Social Services serves, on average, 90 individuals a day. The Campus Kitchen Project at Kent State University will provide one meal a week to those served by Kent Social Services.

Center of Hope

Opened in November of 1989, its mission is to serve hot meals and provide an emergency food pantry, along with referral and advocacy services. Center of Hope serves meals to more than 150 individuals a day.
