This course introduces communication practices within technical communities. The course emphasizes planning, drafting, revising, and editing. Typical activities include: process descriptions, object descriptions, instructional texts, technical correspondence, problem reports, and critical reflection.

This course may be used in partial fulfillment of the Writing and Language Studies requirement in the English Major and in partial fulfillment of the Writing Minor.
