Crystal Davis, Federal Relations Director

Crystal Davis Crystal M. C. Davis is the Federal Relations Director for Kent State University in the Office of Governmental Relations. In this position, she assists the university in taking the initiative to develop strategies that will strengthen the legislative and community support to influence the budgetary climate for higher education. She also serves as the conduit for information between Kent State University and the federal government.

Crystal has a strong government relations background having worked for the Ohio House of Representatives as well as the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus. Immediately prior to assuming her role as Senior Legislative Officer at Kent State University, she served as the Legislative Liaison at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. In that role, she was responsible for creating and tracking legislation, representing the department before the state controlling board and advocating the interests of the department before the legislature.

Crystal is a Kent State Alum and has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
