This is a non-competitive award.

SUMMER DEADLINE: JUNE 9, 2013 at 5:00 PM - for travel starting on June 7th. (The Spring deadline has passed.  Applications are no longer being accepted for spring travel).

This award covers travel costs to and within the U.S., Canada, & Mexico with a maximum of 50% up to $350 of approved student-incurred expenses (registration, hotel, gas, etc.)

To receive reimbursement, you must have:
* A properly completed GSS Funding Form is to be submitted within 14 days of return (click here for an example)
* This form should be accompanied by original receipts (food receipts NOT required)
* A copy of the confirmation email from the Domestic Travel Committee

Full and part-time graduate students may apply for Domestic Travel Awards whose departments are in good standing with GSS. The purpose of this award is to support  research and professional development, especially in regards to conferences/workshops. These awards can fund any of the following:

* Conference/workshop presentations
* Conference/workshop attendance
* Registration fees
* Travel costs
* Room and board
* Cost of presentation materials (equipment, handouts, etc.)

Non Resident: This letter pertains to non-resident students who have received an Award from Graduate Student Senate.  For further information, please read this letter once you have received one of our awards.      

Resident:   This letter pertains to U.S. residents (students) who have received an Award from Graduate Student Senate.  For further information, please read this letter once you have received one of our awards.

Please remember there are separate applications for Domestic travel during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Please see the Awards page for more information. *Please refer to the GSS Bylaws for further clarification into the policies and procedures associated with this Grant (Articles V-VIII)*

Please note that wait list funding is not available for Domestic Travel. After the deadline has passed for the semester, GSS will no longer accept applications for Domestic Travel. Applications must be submitted prior to the deadline.
