The Allerton Student Family housing complex is designed to provide comfortable and affordable living accommodations to upper-class students, and students with families while pursuing a degree at Kent State. The Allerton community is composed of a diverse population thus creating a rich living and learning environment. You will also find a mixture of family arrangements, age groups, traditions, religions and interests.

The Allerton management, in conjunction with the Department of Residence Services, strives to provide residents with a positive academic and social environment through a series of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities as well as other community services that are offered on an on going basis. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact a staff member. You will find the staff to be friendly and willing to assist you with your housing needs. Please download and return the appropriate application located below as soon as possible. All Allerton applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable $25 application fee. Allerton apartments are offered and assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants are placed on the waiting list based on the date the completed application is received in the Allerton office. Therefore, it is important that you mail, drop off or fax the completed application promptly.
