Assessing and Improving the Performance of Others

This course uses small group discussion and case studies to better understand the importance of performance management. The process will be thoroughly examined from the manager's and employee's points of view to better enable managers to fully utilize the evaluation process as a way to encourage and develop employees. In addition, participants will learn more about how to properly prepare and conduct an effective performance evaluation. Behavioral Strategies l: Managing Self
Workshop # IBS1
This workshop utilizes the DiSC methodology to help participants better understand their behavioral style. Participants will complete a DiSC profile and have the opportunity to identify their behavioral style and the major characteristics of the four behavior styles. Behavioral Strategies ll: Managing Others
Workshop # IBS2
This workshop will build upon the information learned in Part 1 (prerequisite for participating in Part 2). The participant will apply the DiSC methodology to understand the behavioral style of others. Participants will use the DiSC methodology to identify the behavioral styles of others, develop specific strategies for working more effectively with others who may have a different style. Bullying in the Workplace: Manager Version - How to Recognize It and How to Stop It

This online course on bullying was created specifically for supervisors and managers to help them recognize and proactively address workplace bullying. Preventing Workplace Violence

This course clarifies the nature and scope of workplace violence and identifies some of the best practices for identification and prevention. Many ethical violations occur when an employee is faced with a difficult choice that requires the employee to balance competing interests where the right thing to do is not clear.
