Apple & Dell Warranty Service

Warranty Service
We provide on-site warranty service for Apple and Dell hardware (no charge in qualifying cases).  Because we're an authorized service provider, we can order replacement parts directly from the manufacturer, ensuring that you never have to leave campus to get quick and professional warranty support for your computer.

Apple Authorized Service Provider

We can order parts and repair Macs covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan.  We may also be able to order replacement parts for computers that are out of warranty (applicable service fees may apply).

To see if your computer is covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan, visit ppleCare.  All Apple hardware comes with a one-year limited warranty.  AppleCare extends your limited warranty to 3 years (for sale online or at The Tech Spot) Please note that the AppleCare Protection Plan does not cover accidental computer damage.

Dell Customer Appointed Service Provider

Our certified Dell technicians can perform repairs and order parts for qualifying Dell computers.  Warranty coverage on your Dell product may vary from limited support to complete care (accidental) support.  Applicable service fees may apply.

Advanced Data Backup/Recovery

Advanced Data Backup
We can remove a damaged hard disk from your computer and attempt to recover your files using a variety of recovery utilities.  If little or no data is recovered, we'll waive the fee.  Drive Savers:  For drives that are damaged beyond our ability to recover data, DriveSavers may be able to help.  Ask a TECHnician for details.  - $75

We can order parts from Dell, Apple or just about any other supplier with our custom part order service.  In the past, we've installed motherboards, displays, keyboards and more.  - $75 (PC) $85 (Mac)

Personal 1-1 Training

1-1 Training
A personalized on campus training session with one of our certified TECHnicians, ranging from getting started on your new computer to learning how to use Microsoft Office.  - $25 for 30 minutes.

TECHcare package

TECHcare
TECHcare is your semester-long pass for unlimited service from The Tech Spot.  This one time purchase allows you to receive as many standard services on a single computer as you need, plus two specialty service options.  Ask a TECHnician about activating your membership today!  - $105/semester.

* Each TECHcare package covers one (1) computer and is available for purchase during the fall and spring semesters.  Part orders and hardware are not included.
