Print Reserve

What is Print Reserve?

Faculty may place books, textbooks, DVDs, etc. on Reserve in order to ensure wide availability to students.  Materials are checked out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Loan Options For Print Reserve Materials

Two Hour Reserve
Materials placed on Two-Hour Reserve may be used during the two-hour loan period in the library only. Two hours before closing, they may be checked out overnight. Overnight reserve materials must be returned ten minutes after the library opens the following day. 

Two Hour - No Overnight  
Materials placed on Two-Hour-No-Overnight Reserve may be used during the two-hour loan but they are not permitted to leave the Library for overnight use. 

One Day Reserve  
Materials placed on One Day Reserve may be checked out at any time for one day and may be returned at any time on the day they are due. They may not be renewed on the same day they are returned. In fairness to other students, a 24-hour waiting period is required before re-checking out the material. 

Three Day Reserve  
Materials placed on Three Day Reserve may be checked out at any time for three days and may be returned at any time on the day they are due. They may not be renewed on the same day they are returned. In fairness to other students, a 24-hour waiting period is required before re-checking out the material. 

Seven Day Reserve  
Materials placed on Seven Day Reserve may be checked out at any time for seven days and may be returned at any time on the day they are due. They may not be renewed on the same day they are returned. In fairness to other students, a 24 hour waiting period is required before re-checking out the materials.
