- International Standard project initiative As part of an ISO International Standard initiative, IAL member Sue Ellen Wright has spearheaded a major international project involving several Translation Studies PhD students. She serves as chair of the Data Category Registry Board (DCRB) for the ISOcat metadata registry. The project, which involves the creation of a component linked to the creation of the Semantic Web, is being conducted in coordination with the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and is funded by the European Union CLARIN project.
