The Bachelor of Science degrees in foreign language translation provide intensive study of the foreign language and culture, as well as translation theory and practice, and language for business. The B.S. also requires a Subject Area Specialty (often a minor) in a discipline outside of foreign languages that is relevant to commercial translation, such as business, paralegal studies, science, or technology.
Additional information on programs in translation can be found at the Institute for Applied Linguistics website.
