NSE includes nearly 200 colleges and universities and has provided exchange opportunities to more than 90,000 students since its founding in 1968.

What is NSE?

Since 1968 the National Student Exchange (NSE) provides opportunities for undergraduate students to study for one semester or one academic year at another NSE member college or university. You can choose from more than 180 colleges and universities to meet your personal interests and academic needs. NSE campuses extend beyond the borders of the United States to include U.S. territories and Canadian Provinces.

If you qualify for participation, you will join approximately 4,000 students this year and overall more than 85,000 students who have enjoyed and benefited from this life enriching experience, that challenged their thinking, increased their knowledge, enhanced their personal development, and gained new perspectives during their exchange.
