The MSN/MBA dual degree integrates knowledge and skills from nursing with business and prepares students to assume mid- and upper-level leadership positions in various healthcare settings. Coursework is integrated and concurrent, and you will develop competencies in leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal/group management skills. You'll also receive exceptional practicum experiences with leaders and managers in health care who have nursing and/or business backgrounds.

You will be prepared to assume leadership positions in hospitals, ambulatory and surgical centers, public and community health, home health, private practice, medical supply/pharmaceutical companies, and entrepreneurial ventures. You can also enter a career in information management, quality assurance, or policy.

As a MSN/MBA dual degree student, we offer you:

  • A flexible curriculum with a combination of online and campus-based courses, and full- and part-time options
  • Fall and spring semester start dates
  • High value: A combination of academic quality, efficiency, and affordable education cost at an easily accessible location
  • The ability to obtain both an MSN and MBA in significantly less time than obtaining these degrees separately

The MSN/MBA is a minimum of 63 credit hours, and can be completed full-time in 6 semesters (3 full-time years), or if part time, within 4-5 years.
