Parking areas are designated for all students, staff members, and visitors on campus.  
If you own a permit, pay close attention to signs in the various lots to be sure you are not in a restricted area.   

Athletic events, plays, concerts, workshops, or conferences are examples of special events with special parking rules.  

Are you just visiting the Kent State campus?  Meters and visitor parking areas are designated around campus.
