Boxing Basics (364000)

W 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Skills learned will include skipping rope, shadow boxing, speed and combination drills, proper form with pads and gloves and more.

Intermediate Boxing (364100)

Class Dates Day Time Registration
A1 May 24 - July 5 F 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
B1 July 19 - Aug. 23 F 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. A continuation of boxing basics, you will advance your skills and develop higher level movements.

Fee: Student $25, Member $30, Nonmember $50

Jujitsu (360004)

Class Dates Day Time Registration
A1 May 20 - July 8 M, F
7 - 8 p.m.
B1 July 15 - Aug. 23 M, F
7 - 8 p.m. This Jujitsu course is designed to teach men and women to use an opponents own strength against them by redirecting the attack. Students are taught through demonstration and drills, how to roll safely, fall safely, throwing techniques, escapes from grabs, how to block punches and submission techniques. Regardless of your goals, whether they be fitness, self defense, competition or a boost in confidence, our program will help you achieve them.

Meditation (371100)

Class Dates Day Time Registration

B1 July 15 - Aug. 19
M, F
5:45 - 7 p.m. Learn how to meditate or simply deepen your practice.  We will explore several mediation approaches, so that you will be able to develop a practice which works best for you. Included will be elements from: mindfulness, progressive relaxation, body scans, guided imagery, sound, music, walking meditation and easy body/mind techniques from yoga.  This class is a great way to de-stress!
