About Me: I have been involved with fitness, movement and wellness my whole life. First as a dancer, then as a soldier in the military, then as a trainer. My goal is always to empower my clients not only physiologically, but psychologically as well, so that they have skills that will serve them in health for all of their lives. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds who seek optimal health and wellness.

Educational Background: Greater Latrobe Senior High School 2011. Currently an undergraduate Kent State University student pursuing a degree in Biology.
Certification: National Exercise Trainers Association Certified Personal Trainer (NETA); American RedCross certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
About Me: Through my high school years fitness has been a major part of my life. I had the chance to take multiple fitness related courses to help prepare me for my certification exam. While in these courses I taught my peers how to better their lifestyle through fitness. I helped them create a workout plan and follow through with the goals they created for themselves. Through the years I have spent numerous hours in the gym for my own training. I was involved in many sports such as volleyball, track and cheerleading through my high school years. I enjoy challenging myself by setting goals and I love the overwhelming feeling once that goal has been reached. My own personal goal is to help change the lifestyles of my clients for their better well-being. I feel this can be accomplished through establishing and maintaining positive lifestyle habits. I plan on sharing my knowledge of personal training with those who take that first step toward better health and I will invest my time and energy in seeing it come to pass.

Trainer Level: Senior Trainer
Educational Background: Stow-Munroe Falls High School 2007. Currently an undergrad in the Aeronautics, Air Traffic Controller Program
Certifications: WNBF Pro Bodybuilder, ACE Personal Training Certification, ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach Certification (in progress), American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification, PurMotion certified.
About Me: The greatest challenge for everyone is nutrition and this is where the main focus should be with any exercise program ranging from weight-loss to muscle gain. Having that commitment to change and knowing that you need to change your lifestyle for the greater good of your overall health is the best motivating factor. I have been involved in sports such as baseball, cross-country, long distance biking and weight lifting from a very early age, and have always been driven to make fitness and wellness a lifestyle that I live out every day of my life. My goal as a personal trainer is to share my knowledge with my clients so they can in turn surpass their fitness goals and carry on a healthy lifestyle for the remainder of their lives. I believe there is always something to learn when it comes to fitness and wellness and we all have room to grow. I have made great strides in my own life, specifically in the area of nutrition, over the past few years. I have found that what we put in our body has everything to do with how our body performs. The areas that I am most knowledgeable on are nutrition, weight-loss, bodybuilding/weight training, cardiovascular endurance training, and functional training.

Trainer Level: Base Trainer
Educational Background: Boardman High School (2007). Graduated from Youngstown State University (2012) with a B.S.A.S. in Exercise Science.
Certifications: American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer. Certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens.
About Me: The most important thing anyone can have in life, to maintain and improve upon, is health and fitness. In my eyes, if you lack in either of these areas, changes need to be made. Throughout my life, I have always shown a strong interest in health and fitness. These interests of mine eventually lead me to pursue and obtain a degree in Exercise Science. After taking several college courses, I decided to obtain my Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). My areas of interest include total lifestyle modification, improvements in all aspects of physical fitness (body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility), sports specific training, beginner training, kids, adults, older adults, etc. I am confident in teaching all types of clients to maintain, improve, and transform their bodies to fit their personal goals. I will accomplish this by using the knowledge, skills, and abilities I have acquired over the years to improve the quality of life for many. I understand that obtaining health and fitness can be taxing, very stressful, and may not all come at once. That is why I promise to dedicate myself, and provide the most beneficial personal training possible. With your cooperation and dedication to the program, anything is possible.
