Funding Support for Undergraduate Research
Although Kent State does not currently have a university-wide fund to support undergraduate research and creative projects, it is a fundraising priority. Some funding does exist, however, in particular programs.

Undergraduate Research Scholars Program
Undergraduate students working under the guidance of a faculty advisor can receive awards of up to $500 to fund research, creative or scholarly activities through the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program.

The Honors College

The Honors College (which you can join as late as the end of the junior year) offers a number of $1,000 Senior Thesis Fellowships for those Honors students undertaking this capstone project
