Among the faculty in the School of Library and Information Science are internationally renowned scholars studying some of the leading issues facing the information profession today, including information policy, information-seeking behavior; information organization, multicultural materials for youth, children's use of technology and user interaction with information systems, for example. Our faculty serve as leaders in major professional organizations and, at the same time, receive honors and accolades for outstanding teaching.

I invite you to learn more about our excellent faculty by visiting the individual faculty profiles, as well as the Faculty Publications & Presentations page.

In addition to our 23 full-time faculty members, we have nearly 70 talented adjunct instructors, who share their expertise as practitioners, and a team of dedicated, student-focused staff members to help our students succeed in their chosen profession.

We are always looking for new adjunct instructors, and currently have a couple of full-time positions open as well. If you're looking for a great school with a strong focus on research and student success, I encourage you to explore these opportunities.

Sincerely,

Jeff Fruit
Interim Director & Professor
