Karama Ya Wahitimu
Students are recognized in a culturally relevant format by a faculty member of color in their respective colleges, which includes the presentation of the Kente cloth and certificate. The program also includes a keynote speaker and reception.
The Karamu Ya Wahitimu is held twice a year, fall and spring semesters. Traditionally held the last Friday of the semester, the Karamu is co-sponsored by the Student Multicultural Center, Department of Pan-African Studies, and Research and Graduate Studies.
