The Soup & Substance Dialogue Series is a speakers’ series aimed at engaging the university in discussions that foster understanding and appreciation for diversity. Kent State University faculty and staff from the eight campuses are invited to present programs of interest to the University community related to diversity, mutual respect and campus community. A light lunch is provided to "feed the body" and presenters provide the substance that "feeds the mind." Soup & Substance is held twice a month during the lunch hour in the Student Multicultural Center lounge.
