Dining Facilities and Services

The Kent State Student Center offers many dining options for every visitor. Visit Dining Services for menus and nutritional information.

SUBWAY

HUB Food Court

Students, staff, and visitors can choose from Subway, Einstein Bros. Bagels, JUMP Asian Express, Nathan's Hot Dog Shop, Sushi & Salads, and Ambrosia. The HUB is a great place to hang out, with plenty of options and seating for everyone.

Dining plans can be used at any time with the exception of 11 am - 2 pm, Monday - Friday.

Kent Market I

Located on the main floor of the Kent Student Center across from the fountain, the Kent Market offers a wide variety of options for the hungry Golden Flash. Stop by the Grill for a specialty sandwich, wrap or salad, or choose from a large selection of grab-and-go items. Also offering Vegetarian options and Puravida, a completely fair-trade line of delicious coffee.

KENTMARKETII

Kent Market II

This large café has a variety of menu selections available during the business hours. Our Olives Pasta Bar allows anyone to customize their own pasta dish. The grill offers a wide selection. The University Bakeshop provides us with a variety of delectable baked goods to help sweeten any meal! Kent Market II is a popular lunch spot for students and the dining plan is accepted!

Damon's Grille and Sports Bar

Located in the Lower Level of the Student Center is the newest and most popular dining location. Damon's Grille and Sports Bar is a casual sit down restaurant in the Rathskeller. Order, get a number, and sit down and be served sizzling grilled chicken, fresh seafood and Damon’s famous ribs. Damon's also offers vegetarian options. Damon's is open until 11pm, Monday - Saturday.

SCHWEBEL

The Schwebel Room

The Schwebel Room is a delicious dining option offering traditional gourmet restaurant-style cuisine. Specials are offered daily.
The Schwebel Room is a great option for anyone looking for a nice dining experience while visiting the campus.

Banquet Sales

Kent State University's banquet service is available to host your event on-campus or cater to off-campus locations. Banquet Sales offers many diverse menu options from the simple meeting brunch to the extravagant event or wedding. Catering for student groups is also available. The Banquet Sales staff is dedicated to making all events a special and memorable experience.
