Volunteer and Service-Learning Opportunities

Volunteer and service-learning opportunities are available at local social service agencies through which students do everything from feeding those less fortunate, to assisting children and adults in learning to read, to providing services that have positive effects on the environment, to acting as conversation partners for international students. Students may also choose to complete their Experiential Learning Requirement (ELR) by using a non-course based option.

University staff is available to assist you in matching your desire to serve with the needs of the community. Contact Ann Gosky at 330.672.8004 or at agosky@kent.edu, Elizabeth Bosworth at 330.672.8004 or at eboswort@kent.edu, or Nichelle Shuck at 330.672.8004 or at nshuck@kent.edu or visit the Office of Quality Initiatives and Curriculum in Moulton Hall. We look forward to meeting you!
