As a student at Kent State University, you have important personal and community responsibilities.

Understanding your obligations is critical to your success as an individual student and to the overall success of Kent State.

Student resources are available to you in the following offices and services.

Academic Resources

Kent State University offers an array of resources to assist you with your academic endeavors, including tutoring, group study sessions, career counseling, advising and more.

Blackstone LaunchPad

Blackstone LaunchPad is an innovative program that teaches students, faculty and alumni how to transform their ideas into thriving businesses. By connecting entrepreneurs with mentors, experts and resources, the program provides the advice, counsel and network necessary to get their ideas off the ground.

Bookstore

The Kent State University bookstore offers official logo merchandise, software and online ordering.

Career Services Center

Career Services supports students in achieving their career goals by providing assistance with choosing a major, acquiring experience through student employment and internships, and preparing to undertake a professional job search.

Code of Conduct

As members of the Kent State University community, students are expected to demonstrate responsible conduct. The Code of Student Conduct translates these expectations into specific policies and describes the process through which claims of violations are resolved.

The "Fab Fourth" and Commuter Lounge
The fourth floor of the University Library has been renovated into a space for students to study, relax and connect with others. It also features the Writing Commons, the university’s writing center, and UCommute, a center for commuter students that provides a "home away from home." UCommute offers staffing and a special location for commuter and off-campus students. It is open anytime the library is open.

FLASHcard

The FLASHcard is your Kent State University ID card and more. Your card will let you take materials out of the library, access services such as the Rec Center and athletic events, and purchase food on and off campus.

Kent Student Center

Presents links to information about facilities located within the Student Center and offers information on upcoming events.

Student Accessibility Services

Provides assistance to students with varying degrees and types of disabilities in order to maximize educational opportunity and academic potential.

Student Legal Services

Student Legal Services is a non-profit law firm brought to Kent State University by the Undergraduate Student Senate. Their purpose is to help you understand and resolve the legal issues that you might face while you are a student.

Student Ombuds

The Office of the Student Ombuds acts as an advocate for students and strives to develop a fair and equitable university community.

University Health Services
Located in the DeWeese building on Eastway Drive, University Health Services (UHS) provides non-emergent outpatient care to all eligible students, faculty and staff including examination and treatment for illness and minor injuries, women's health care, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy services, and health education. UHS accepts all KSU employee health plans and other major carriers.  Self-pay rates are available for uninsured patients.

Women’s Center

Kent State University Women's Center exists to facilitate the advancement of and to enhance the quality of educational experience and professional life for women students, faculty and staff of all campuses.
