The Writing Commons offers three different ways to get help with your writing projects!

Traditional Face-to-Face Appointments - Use the "Schedule Your Appointment" link  to schedule an in-person session with one of our tutors in the Writing Commons for up to 45 minutes.  Our most popular option, face-to-face appointments allow you to get a lot accomplished in a session.

Online Feedback (Non-Interactive) - Use the "Send Us Your Draft" link to send your paper and then wait for your  feedback  to arrive in your e-mail.  This option is useful if you already have something written, but you do not have time to come to the Writing Commons or to have a chat session. 

Online Interactive - Use the "Schedule Your Online Chat" link to sign up for  an interactive, live  session with a tutor without having to come to the Writing Commons.  The interactive online option is helpful when you need the benefits of a one-on-one conversation, but you cannot get to the Writing Commons.  These online sessions take place in your KSU e-mail's chat feature.  The videos below explain them in more depth.
