Angela J. DeJulius, M.D., MPH
Dr. DeJulius is the Chief University Physician at UHS and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Prior to coming to Kent State University in 2010, she practiced family medicine in Brimfield and was the Medical Director of the Portage County Health Department. Dr. DeJulius completed her undergraduate studies with a degree in sociology at Tulane University and received a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine. She also has a Master's in Public Health from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine/Kent State University. Dr. DeJulius' hobbies include reading, fitness, traveling and keeping up with her 3 teenaged children.\10
Jennifer D'Abreau, D.O.
Dr. D'Abreau, a Senior Physician at University Health Services, has practiced at UHS for over 11 years. She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. D'Abreau completed her undergraduate studies at Alma College with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She has faculty appointments at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.FreshleyBarb
Barbara D. Freshley, M.D.
Dr. Freshley has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1990 and has practiced at University Health Services since 2009. She holds bachelor's degrees in both history (Vassar College) and nursing (Kent State University's College of Nursing). Dr. Freshley received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) and now serves as faculty at NEOUCOM. In her spare time, Dr. Freshley enjoys cross-stich, gardening, singing and playing the piano. She is also a member of the musical group "Ladies with a Day Job."Fuduric
James Fuduric, M.D.
Dr. Fuduric joined University Health Services in 2007 after 31 years in private practice. He completed his undergraduate studies in zoology at Ohio University and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. Dr. Fuduric, who is Board Certified in Pediatrics, also currently practices at a local urgent care center. He lives in Strongsville with his wife Margaret. His hobbies include cooking, reading, running, biking and spending time with their eleven grandchildren.\10
Laura Sadeghi, PNP, FNP
Laura has been a nurse practitioner for the past 16 years and joined UHS in 2007. She is Board Certified as both an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron, Laura completed her Master of Science in Nursing/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She also holds a Post-Master's Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Massachusetts-Worcester. At Kent State, Laura serves as Adjunct Faculty for the College of Nursing and as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading and being outdoors.
Kathleen Scroggins, MD
Dr. Scroggins has been board certified in Family Medicine sincie 1989. She joined University Health Services in Spring 2012. Dr Scroggins received her Doctorate of Medicine from Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr Scroggins' career includes working at primary care practices in the specialty of family medicine with obstetrics. Dr Scroggins also served in the US Army during Desert Storm.

Kim Myford, MSN, WHNP
Kim is a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health. She has been in nursing for over 16 years and has worked in the Women's Clinic at UHS since 2007. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University, Kim received her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her two children.Ali
Alison Prudoff, MSN, WHNP
Alison, a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health, has worked in the Women's Clinic at University Health Services since 2009. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and exercising.
Jim Hostler, RPh
Jim has been a pharmacist at University Health Services for 16 years. He received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the Ohio State University. In addition to serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Northeast Ohio Medical University, he is also a member of the Ohio Pharmacist Association, Kent State University Blue and Gold Club, and Kent Historical Society. He is also a charter member of the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy Alumni Society and a life member of both the Kent State University and Ohio State University Alumni Associations. Mr. Hostler's interests include fishing, hiking, history and baseball.\10
Laura Damicone, RPh
Laura is an alumnus of the Ohio State College of Pharmacy. She is a preceptor for the pharmacy students at the Northeast Ohio Medical University and is a member of the Ohio Pharmacists Association. In her spare time, she enjoys studying art and visiting museums, golf, reading and the Cleveland Browns. She also enjoys serving as a deacon at the Hudson Presbyterian Church.
Pamela Farer-Singleton, Ph.D.
Dr. Farer-Singleton has been the Chief University Psychologist at UHS for the past 17 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College and her master's and doctoral degrees in psychology from Kent State University. She completed two American Psychological Association-approved internships at the Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Fallsview Psychiatric Hospital. Her professional specialties include anxiety and depression, couples/relationship/family therapy, academic performance issues and parenting issues. At KSU, Dr. Farer-Singleton has also served as a part-time Assistant Professor, providing clinical supervision for the Department of Psychology's graduate students\10
Carrie Berta, Psy.D.
Dr. Berta joined University Psychological Services in 2010. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Boston University and obtained a doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Berta completed an American Psychological Association-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University's Counseling and Psychological Services. Her professional specialties include relationship concerns, LGBTQ issues, identity development and life transitions\10
Jayita Datta, Psy.D.
Dr. Datta joined University Psychological Services in 2010. She received bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Dr. Datta holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology. Her Post-Doctoral Fellowship was completed at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst's Counseling and Assessment Services. Dr. Datta is fluent in 3 languages (English, Hindi and Bengali). Her areas of specialty are anger, anxiety, mood, academic stress, ADHD/LD, relationship/couples/family therapy, identity development, transitions issues, acculturation, and cultural identity.\10
Kirsten DeLambo, Ph.D.
Dr. DeLambo is a licensed psychologist who specializes in trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and women's issues (such as sexual assault, domestic violence, self-esteem and destructive behaviors). She received an undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster and her doctorate from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. She currently serves in the Ohio National Guard as a psychologist and assists soldiers pre- and post-deployment. Dr. DeLambo also conducts trainings for mental health counselors on the topic of PTSD treatment.doug2
Douglas Muccio, Ph.D.
Dr. Muccio joined University Psychological Services in 2008 as a counseling psychologist and sport psychologist. He received his master's degree in sport psychology from Kent State University and his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Tennessee.
John S. Schell, Ph.D.
Dr. Schell is the Senior Psychologist at UHS and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses.He completed his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and received his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology form Kent State University. He did an internship at Yale University's School of Medicine/Yale-New Haven Hospital and a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University's Department of University Health.Dr. Schell's clinical specialties include depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and relationship therapy.
Todd Francis, P.T.
Todd is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board as a physical therapist. A graduate of Ohio University, Todd has provided physical therapy services at UHS for 7 years. He also practices at a local private practice and sports medicine clinic.When not working with patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, camping, boating and downhill skiing.
Linnea Ray, R.T.(R)(M)CDT
Linnea has been a Radiologic Technologist at UHS for 25 years. She is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both radiology and mammography and is certified in bone densitometry by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Linnea enjoys reading, spending time with her granddaughter and riding in her Mustang convertible.
