Students interested in studying abroad this summer through a CUNY sponsored program (program must be STOCS eligible), should strongly consider applying for STOCS. The list of eligible programs and the student application is up on the CUNY study abroad website. Click here to access the STOCS application and list of eligible programs.

Applications for our summer program in the island of Crete are up! Click here for the application. Last summer, Lehman College Professors Marie Marianetti and Yuri Gorokhovich took our students on a wonderful academic journey throughout the island of Crete in Greece. They stayed in different parts of the island and visited ruins, beaches, and many other historic sites. Below, you will find images of summer 2011 participants.

Start your Summer 2012 study abroad program search! Lehman students interested in study abroad programs for 2012 should visit the CUNY Study Abroad website in order to view the CUNY-wide program offerings. Students exploring different ways to finance their study abroad should consider STOCS, a scholarship program administered by CUNY. In order to view STOCS eligibility requirements and the STOCS application, click here. STOCS eligible programs for the Summer 2012 session have yet to be posted, and should be available by late January. However, students are strongly advised to start their program search as early as possible. For more accurate information contact the study abroad office in the sponsoring schools. Students are also encouraged to consult with an advisor in the Lehman Study Abroad office located in Carman 337.

INTERNATIONAL DAY!
The Lehman College Study Abroad Office would like to thank all students and staff who participated in our annual International Day Event on November 14th. The event featured mini language lessons and international food sampling for those who participated in the lessons. Here are some pictures of our event.

Lehman Students Abroad
Diana Peña Bastalla, who participated in Brooklyn College's Film and Documentary Program in India this winter, was featured in a local Chennai newspaper (Indian Express). Diana directed a documentary on the life of local fashion designer, Sidney Sladen. She worked alongside a Brooklyn College student and six students from the L V Prasad Film and TV Academy.
