Vincent HoSang Vincent HoSang
President & CEO, Caribbean Food Delights
Vincent HoSang, OD, is President and CEO of Caribbean Food Delights and Royal Caribbean Bakery. He was born in Jamaica to Chinese immigrants, the eighth child of ten. In 1968 he moved to the United States, where he met his wife Jeanette, also from Jamaica. Pursuing his goal to become an entrepreneur, Vincent saved enough money to purchase a fast-food restaurant in the Bronx, a business that he and his wife built into Caribbean Food Delights. Caribbean Food Delights is now a multi-million dollar company and the largest Jamaican frozen food plant in the U.S. It received the 2007 Forbes award, and its Jamaican patty was nominated Best New Product by the World Foods Association. Sharing the tastes of Jamaica has not only earned Vincent HoSang millions, but enabled him to give back through the Vincent HoSang Family Foundation, which supports higher education and public health initiatives in Jamaica. In 2010, Mr. HoSang was awarded an Order of Distinction—the Commonwealth Award—by the St. George’s Society of New York.
