Come to one of the RA Information Sessions to learn about the position and to pick up an application!

  • Monday, January 31st at 9:30pm in the Maple Classroom
  • Tuesday, February 1st at 9:30pm in the Cedarcrest Rec Room
  • Wednesday, February 2nd at 9:30pm in the Laurel B Lounge
  • Thursday, February 3rd at 9:30pm in the Pinecrest Lobby

Student Government President Ralph Slyster was recently elected Chair of the Board of Student Government Presidents during their meeting in Harrisburg. News Story

The Student Government Association Executive Board members recently attended the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Leadership Conference in Kutztown where members established a connection with the United Way in a program called Keystone Kares. The group will sponsor a t-shirt sale with all proceeds going to the PASSHE Haiti Relief Fund.

SGA members also attended a conference Bartell and Bartell in State College and received training in organizational leadership.

Members of the Greek Life communities are gearing up for another Big Event in April. Last year, 250 volunteers went out into the community to perform works of service as part of their community outreach. News Story

The Greek Life community also received hands-on leadership training throughout the year.

The Office of Residence Life recently conducted its spring 2010 Resident Assistant Leadership Workshop. Resident Assistants practiced the fine tuning of the following skills: Community Development, Confrontation, Mediation, Appreciation of Diversity, and Programming, among others.

Bia Bernum, a faculty member from the MU Communications Department, presented an intellectually stimulating and challenging workshop which will help staff members in their leadership activities and in their daily interaction with students.
