Professors Manning and Stroud will speak on ethics and leadership and effective communication as well as ethical integrity in prison and punishment reform. This event is a public presentation supported by the Philosophy programs at Mansfield University with additional support from the Ethics Center at Lock Haven University.

A lifetime educator whose medium has been physical education, counseling, and sport, Higgins wrote and delivered the first formal coaching education/certification program in Canada. He was the University of Toronto's first full-time track and field coach and was a leader in establishing the University of Toronto Track Club, where he also created its first women's program. Higgins’ coaching model evolved into Canada's first High Performance Centre for Track and Field. Read More.
