Our 4-year Safety Managment program, offered through the Health Sciences Department, will prepare you as a safety manager for the natural gas and energy industries as well as numerous occupational health and safety positions that serve other regional industries.
The program integrates the health and human perspectives with the technical and applied sciences related to the safety science discipline. The program addresses the human factors of the safety profession with a focus on communication, ethics, leadership, psychology, and other aspects of occupational health and safety. It also covers the essential components of safety management including: policy, risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion.
