Mansfield University offers non-credit courses and career training programs through online learning. We have career training programs which offer course work in a specific field and following completion of select programs, participants are prepared and eligible to sit for professional certification exams. We also offer short online instructor-facilitated courses covering a variety of topics including computers, health care, personal development, and many others. Mansfield University's Technology Outreach Center is centrally located on campus. This dedicated facility can be reserved for usage by regional businesses and organizations. Requests should be directed to Nancy Parrillo.
Law Enforcement and Certification Programs offer a range of courses that can help you in your present job or help you prepare for a new career. We offer certification workshops in Child Abuse Recognition, School Violence Prevention, Food Safety, Real Estate Pre-License courses, and others. The Law Enforcement programs include the ACT 120 Municipal Police Officer Training, ACT 49 Constable Training, ACT 180 In-Service Training for Municipal Police Officers, and more. We believe that anyone can be an entrepreneur. Whether it is for profit business startup, or developing solutions to make the community you live in better and more sustainable, you can do it. Our Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership will provide opportunities for you to learn about starting a new organization or enterprise. Expert faculty, skilled professionals, hold workshops to educate entrepreneurs about innovative leadership techniques, new management procedures and key business issues.
