The University Honors Program at Northeastern offers exceptionally motivated students an opportunity to elevate their educational experience through deeper academic exploration, a higher level of engagement with faculty, and special options for service and leadership.
Honors Program students are invited to choose one of four Living and Learning Communities (LLCs), all housed in International Village. These thematic LLCs offer students the opportunity to craft their education around a thematic area of special interest that can complement any major.
Members of the Honors community also explore these themes through course work and connections to broader opportunities on campus and beyond, including social, cultural, and community-service activities.
Applicants who have outstanding academic and extracurricular credentials may be invited to join the University Honors Program. All students who apply by the January 15 regular decision deadline are considered for admission into the Honors Program. There is no separate application. Students admitted into the Honors program are notified through their admission letter.
