The Office of Conference & Event Planning, part of the University’s Marketing and Communications team, is the primary organizer of major events for Northeastern University and the Office of the President.
In addition, we offer event consultation services for Northeastern faculty and staff who are planning University meetings, conferences, or events, or who are interested in hosting an outside group for an event at the University.
Finally, the Office of Conference & Event Planning manages scheduling and use of the Egan Research Center meeting rooms, including Raytheon Amphitheater.
Our work planning major University events and consulting with faculty and staff on event planning is part of a larger, University-wide integrated marketing and communications program. Our event planning principles are guided by the strategic branding initiatives that support the University’s goals and aspirations.
Our job is to develop and manage events that enhance Northeastern’s profile as a premier national research university that is student-centered, practice-oriented, and urban. We do this by working with a broad spectrum of clients across the University—from the President’s Office to individual consultation with faculty and staff—to maintain professional event standards at all University events and to guide our clients through the process of producing a quality event at Northeastern. For more information, contact the director of conference and events at (617) 373-5849.
