Merrill Lynch

A leading global investment company, Merrill Lynch has been involved in the Northeastern co-op program for about 20 years. Until 2000, students only worked at the Boston office, with the company typically hiring between four and eight students each year. In 2000, the company expanded its co-op relationship to New York and San Francisco as well.

The program in New York was a tremendous success, and each year since, Merrill Lynch has been one of the top employers of co-op students in the College of Business Administration. The company’s co-op offerings are very diverse with opportunities available to students across many business units and functions.

The company received a Co-op Employer Award in 2007 and is being recognized this year with a Co-op Centennial Employer Recognition Award for their continued partnership with Northeastern. Merrill Lynch’s program continues to expand, with 140 Northeastern students hired during 2008-09.
