Students who are interested in joining a Fortune 500 company, or founding their own business will find Northeastern offers a wide range of co-op experiences that will help them realize their potential and dreams.
The College of Business Administration offers co-op partnerships with scores of employers in the United States and around the world, ranging from small start-ups to large multinational corporations, which will help students gain the kind of business experience that suits their educational and work goals.
Northeastern also prizes entrepreneurship so students interested in founding their own business will be able to persue co-ops with start-up companies and connect with mentors who will show them what it takes to establish and grow a new enterprise.
In addition, The College of Business Administration offers students an innovative undergraduate degree program that combines language proficiency with business academics in an international setting, The Bachelor of Science International Business (BSIB) program trains students to become future global managers and highly-qualified professionals who bring a more competitive edge in world markets to US corporations.
Our co-op faculty members are integrated into the college, providing students with plenty of support for their job search, during co-op, and afterwards as they reflect on how the experience conincided with their classroom learning.
Students also will find numerous co-ops related to business, international business and entrepreneurship studies outside the traditional business school disciplines, enabling them to combine their interest in business with other knowledge areas, such as economics, the music industry, computer and information science, and security.
For example, our music industry concentration in the College of Arts, Media and Design connects students with co-op positions at highly visable record labels, music publishing companies, and tour promoters.
