Northeastern sponsors membership in Care.com. Care.com is an online resource that is being provided as a benefit; Care.com connects you with a nationwide network of providers who can offer reliable care for a wide-range of services, including childcare. As part of the benefit, the standard membership fee is waived for benefits-eligible faculty and staff.
Recognizing the importance of accessing backup care for children and adults when regular care arrangements are not available, as a benefit, faculty and staff may access up to 15 days/year of any combination of Backup Care Services at very favorable rates. The services and rates are:

Northeastern employees and their dependents may each have up to six counseling sessions per concern/event, per year, at no cost. The sessions can take place in person at Northeastern or another mutually agreed upon location. In addition, the services include:
Offering convenient, subsidized care, the Russell J. Call Children's Center can enroll up to 38 children. Located on campus at 1 Fencourt Street, the center provides quality early-childhood education and child care to children. Parents who are members of Northeastern’s faculty and staff receive priority.
The center accepts, on a space-available basis, children between the ages of 2 years 9 months through 5 years. The center's costs compare favorably with other local centers.
Partial scholarships are available to full-time faculty and staff members who enroll their child(ren) in the center and meet the family income requirements. To learn more about scholarships, please contact HRM's Benefits Department, 617.373.2230.
