Northeastern has partnered with global pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline to launch a first-of-its-kind, joint experiential PhD program. Employees of GSK who enroll in the program will conduct pharmaceutical research projects co-developed by the company and Northeastern, and GSK will cover the tuition costs of the program as well as all the research expenses.

A panel of scholars examined the role of race in society at Northeastern’s annual “A Tribute to the Dream” event. “Just as learning doesn’t end when we step out of the classroom, neither does our responsibility to fulfill Dr. King’s dream,” President Aoun said.
