College of Art, Media, and Design Senior Show 2013
April 20- May 28
Reception April 22, 4-6pm

Greatest Hits

As the culmination of their experience here at Northeastern, this annual show is made up of work by students from the College of Art Media and Design. Regardless of medium, the work is evolved and representative of the various disciplines.

The college provides an arena for innovation, scholarship, real-world exploration and interdisciplinary collaboration in communications and the arts. As a juried show, the works selected are the best of the best, and Gallery 360 is pleased to provide a venue for this year’s senior show, appropriately named “Greatest Hits.”

is the seventh annual interdisciplinary conference and third annual visual art exhibit sponsored by Northeastern University's English Graduate Student Association. These artists create work which explores notions of alterity and alternatives. From media to subject matter to process, these artists create work that is at once thoughtful, playful, and engaging.

Sections B & C

Department of Art + Design’s Dialogue of Civilizations
February 22-June 6
Reception March 13, 5-7pm

Ireland, County Clare: The Burren is carved out of a glacier left from the Ice Age. Students experience this unusual landscape and become part of a tiny Gaelic village.

Venice, Italy: This is a unique opportunity for students to live, work, and study in an extraordinary and beautiful city.

Havana, Cuba: Ninety miles away from the US, but a world apart, students study in this small distinctive Communist nation.

Each program provides an experience that enhances academic studies at Northeastern. Through photography, painting, and multimedia, students from diverse majors become part of the culture
and history of three exceptional locations. Their experiences culminate in the creation of work as special as the place.

Section E & F

Grandpa: Photos by An Rong Xu
March 4- June 27
Co-sponsored by the Asian America Center

"Grandpa" is the living memory of a man whose journey has shaped my own. These are the quiet moments that have taught me revelation, love, and loyalty in the midst of fear and unrest. Through the good, the bad, the indifferent - "Grandpa" bridges the gap between the generations.
