Sexual Assault Prevention Classes for Women

The Public Safety Division is dedicated to teaching women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assaults by utilizing easy, effective and proven hands-on, self-defense tactics. All instructors are trained and certified.

Rape Aggression Self-Defense System (RAD) is a comprehensive program designed to teach women how to avoid being raped and to defend themselves against an attack.

All RAD classes are open to the general Northeastern University community (including students, staff and alumni) and offered at least once each semester. Registration for the class is granted on a first come first serve basis. Please be advised that you must personally come in to the Public Safety Division Headquarters located at 716 Columbus Avenue, Suite 100 in order to register for the desired class session which consist of three, four-hour sessions held once a week. 

Class size: Limited to 14

Fee: $10.00 (payable to Northeastern University by check, money order, or Husky card in advance).

*Please Note: You must attend all three class dates.

*Classes are open to all women affiliated with N.U. on a first come first serve basis.    
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

*Special classes can be scheduled for groups.
