Weather and Emergency Closings

Please DO NOT CALL the Northeastern University Police Department during inclement weather to ask if classes or events have been canceled.

As soon as the University makes a determination to cancel classes or events the major television and radio stations in Boston are immediately notified and will begin broadcasting that information.  Simultaneously, a message will be sent via e-mail, test message and/or telephone to students, faculty and staff using the NUAlert System.
