Questline Department

Questline is the telephone reference department of the Orange County Library System. The reference assistants in this department receive an average of 11,000 calls per month from patrons making requests for materials, seeking to renew checked out items, and asking questions on a wide variety of topics. Requested items can be delivered to the patron's home address or held for pick up at the drive-up window or Book Return area of the downtown Orlando Public Library. The majority of questions are answered during the patron's call. If necessary, the question is forwarded to a specific reference department where staff refer to print and/or electronic sources before contacting the patron.

Patrons are welcome to call the department at 407.835.7323 from:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday
  • 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday
  • 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday
