http://www.ocls.info/locations/maps/main.asp#second The Technology and Education Center is located on the second-floor of the Orlando Public Library and includes the state-of-the art Melrose Center. The public area consists of fifty-two Dell/HP multimedia capable computers from which patrons can access numerous software application and the Internet. The Library also offers two assistive service computers for those with hearing or vision impairments. All public computers are equipped with CD-RW drives. In addition, two computers are also available to learn languages using Ellis, the world's premiere English language learning system for Middle School to the adult learner.

The Library also has three state-of-the-art classrooms where over 100 unique classes are taught by seasoned trainers. All classes are designed by experienced curriculum developers. These classes combine hands-on exercises with a goal of developing practical skills. Each classroom is equipped with student computers, two with PCs and one with Macs. To enhance instruction, each classroom has a 55-inch LCD TV. Classes are offered daily and cover a variety of useful topics.
