Pine Castle Pioneer Days
Currently in its 42nd year, Pine Castle Pioneer Days is a folk festival aimed at preserving the rich history and folk traditions of both Pine Castle and Orange County. On display are selected promotional posters of the event dating back to 1973. The next Pioneer Days festival will begin on February 27th, 2016, in Cypress Grove Park. Call to Artists
Women in the Arts, Inc. and the Orange County Library System are inviting professional, female artists to submit their work to be exhibited during Women’s History Month. Five finalists will be chosen from the entries submitted. Selected art will be featured in the upcoming 5th Annual Celebrating the Genius of Women exhibition at the Orlando Public Library in March and April 2016. Finalists will be eligible for $1500 in cash awards. Apply online at www.womeninthearts.org.

Save the Manatee Club
Save the Manatee Club is an award-winning national nonprofit 501(c)(3) and membership-based organization established in 1981 by renowned singer/songwriter, Jimmy Buffett, and former U.S. Senator, Bob Graham, when he was governor of Florida. Manatees are Florida’s official state marine mammal. The Club’s mission is to protect endangered manatees and their aquatic habitat for future generations. On display are souvenirs and memorabilia from their 34 years spent safeguarding the state's Manatees.
