Local author and Orange County 2005 Teacher of the Year, Diane Sarmiento-Waring discusses her new children’s books The One Race Kids Teach the ABCs, Meet the One Race Kids, and We are the One Race Kids.   These books, written under the One Race Kids publishing brand, are about five racially diverse kids who all have positive character traits that make them super heroes.  School-aged readers will learn valuable lessons on self-esteem, friendship, recycling and volunteerism.  Book sale and signing follows program.  For additional library resources on character traits, visit www.ocls.info/character.  For more information on One Race Kids, visit www.oneracekids.com.
