Meet celebrated Hispanic artists at the library in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Join us for a wordless conversation about art and communication. The participating artists will present their artwork as an ode to their culture and history.

2nd Annual Mexican Film Festival
Orlando Public Library, Library Central
Sundays (September 9 through October 7), 2:30 p.m.
Discover and understand the history and culture of Mexico. Orlando Public Library and Consulate of Mexico invite you to join us for the viewing of El Alma de México, a five-segment documentary covering pre-Columbian times to present-day. The international renowned Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes narrates the film in Spanish with English subtitles.

Latin Cultural Expo

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning more about Latin culture. Experience the music, literature, art, dance and diversity of the Latin culture by browsing the variety of Latin countries represented at the Expo. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the best decorated display.
These special events are FREE and everyone is invited!
