Tiny Tales

These programs, especially for infants from birth to 18 months, last approximately 15 minutes. The rhythm and repetition of nursery rhymes are used to introduce very young children to literature. Hold your child in your lap and enjoy this special time together.

AARP Volunteers will provide free income tax assistance. Attendees will need to present a valid ID, Social Security Card, any tax forms and Annual Benefits Statements (if necessary). Attendees will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

Toddler Time

Stories and activities for children aged 18 to 36 months. The programs last approximately 20 minutes. The use of picture books, finger plays, songs, poetry and Mother Goose rhymes, and flannel board stories will encourage the development of verbal and listening skills for this active age group.

Crafty Capers for Kids (9-12) ($)

Friday, March 27, 2015 at Melrose Center   Registration Required

The Melrose Center will feature week-long, 2 to 3-hour camp-style sessions, Monday through Friday. A materials fee of $25 applies for each camp. Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today! To register, please call us at 407.835.7323 or visit any of our locations in person. Craft simple and easy projects using LED lights, a Silhouette cutter and a 3D printer. Video Studio Assessment

Friday, March 27, 2015 at Melrose Center   Registration Required

Prior to booking a studio, we ask that users participate in a studio-specific orientation and successfully complete a brief assessment. ASSESSMENT REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Must attend the Video Studio Access Orientation. To register for this orientation and assessments, cardholders must attend the General Orientation for the Melrose Center and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age).
