Use ProQuest to find full text newspaper articles of the Orlando Sentinel as well as a number of other Southeastern or national newspapers. 

Searching for articles on ProQuest is easy. For a basic search, type in your search terms and select the date of publication range you're interested in searching.  You can also limit your search to only full text articles.  A more complex search can be done by choosing the Advanced Search button.

The following newspapers are a sample of what is available for searching online via ProQuest:

Orlando Sentinel (1985 - present)

Los Angeles Times (1990 - present)

New York Times (1999 - present)

Wall Street Journal (1984 - present)

Washington Post (1998 - present)

To find available newspapers, simply go to Virtual Library at the Library's homepage and choose Online Databases.  The newspapers will be listed by title in the Magazines & Newspapers category.  Select any newspaper title and you will enter the ProQuest database.

You didn't find your favorite U.S. newspaper on the list above?  Check to see if it's available by selecting any of the listed newspapers and click on Databases Selected, choose ProQuest Newspapers and follow the screens to search for other available publications.
