Access Assessment: Audio Studio Control Room

Monday, July 06, 2015 at Melrose Center   Registration Required

Prior to booking a studio, users are required to successfully complete a brief studio-specific assessment. The assessment will cover basic studio workflows, including: setting up microphones, signal routing, cue systems and setting up and saving a recording session using Pro Tools. Required Skills: Introductory knowledge of the Pro Tools environment, signal flow and effects processing. Experience with microphones, signal routing and cue systems. Recommended Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Sound for Audio Engineering, Pro Tools Levels 1-4, Audio Equipment Training: Microphones, Audio Equipment Training: Studio Signal Routing Level 1, Audio Equipment Training: Studio Signal Routing Level 2 and Assessment Prep: Audio Studio Control Room. Assessment Registration Requirement: To register for this assessment, cardholder must have Live Room Booking Privileges and must be at least 18 years of age. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age). You must be present at the scheduled start time to be admitted. Recommended Audience: Adult. #audiotic #tic

Video Production for Tweens and Teens (11-17) ($)

The Melrose Center will feature week-long, 2 to 3-hour camp-style sessions Monday through Friday. A materials fee of $25 applies for each camp. Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today! To register, please call us at 407.835.7323 or visit any of our locations in person. Create your own movie with hands-on training from professional instructors. Write, produce, shoot and edit like the pros in your first video clip in our state-of-the-art video production studio.
