QR Codes
A Quick Response Code, or QR code, is somewhat like a regular barcode you see on everyday items that you buy at the store. Only, instead of a row of vertical lines, it’s a black and white square.
QR codes are meant to be scanned by a mobile phone, and can take you to websites, contact information, calendar events, images, text, maps, and more!
How is the Library using QR codes?
We're using QR codes to enhance your experience at our locations and in our website. You'll find QR codes on event posters that you can scan to add the date to your calendar. Other QR codes will contain a location's address that can be sent directly to your phone's map.

You'll need a QR reader to be able to scan the QR codes you see around the Library and on ocls.info. The following are free QR readers:
